1. Kendwa Beach

Kendwa beach is one of the liveliest and most crowded beaches of Tanzania. Located on the northwestern coastline of Zanzibar, this beach is a party magnet and has one of the best night lives of all the beaches in Tanzania! Its waters are home to some beautiful coral reefs and exotic marine life, which makes the water activities worth the trip.

2. Jambiani Beach

3. Nungwi Beach

4. Prison Island Beach

Named after the prison that was completed in 1894, but was merely used as quarantine center for yellow-fever victims is a great place to relax and soak in the beauty of nature. An ideal place to spot the wildlife here and there. Best for a half-day trip this island allows you to interact with the tortoise, feed and have a swim with them.

5. Misali Island Beach

Since this beach is still untapped and away from the noisy tourists, this place is the epitome of isolation and calmness!
