A few short months ago we launched Tripindigo with the help of EasyOTA, and our sole purpose was to help make travelling in East Africa easier. We love the region and all it has to offer the world, but we do not live the painful process and red tape you need to navigate to get your flight bookings done.
We've tried to kick out the travel blues when it comes to booking travel in East Africa and in doing so we've received overwhelming support from both locals and foreigners travelling in the region. In a few short months, we become East Africa's fastest growing online travel agency and a premier destination for not only the most affordable flights but a place where travellers can find reliable content. We've taken the time to provide users with local content and allow travellers to find research, travel guides & more about the region and the cities they plan on visiting.
We've added more options
We know we cannot afford to rest on our promise of bringing you the best selection of fares across multiple routes and bring you competitive prices. That is why we're continually looking for new ways to expand our offerings. Having this philosophy as one of our core principles has lead us to the addition of 2 new airlines to our booking service. You can now book with both Silverstone Air and ZanAir on Tripindigo which gives our customers more airlines to fly with, more routes to fly on and better prices to choose from.
We've got exciting news
We realise that providing more options means more flexibility for travellers and we want to make online bookings simple and, so in addition to new routes, we're excited to announce that you can now book flights on Tripindigo using Kenyan and Tanzanian Shillings.
Yes, that's correct once you select your prefered currency you can then view prices in Kenyan Shillings and pay for your flights with good old KES. Isn't that great news?
How to book with Kenyan Shillings
Changing to Kenyan Shillings on desktop
If you're using Tripindigo on your desktop computer or Laptop, you should be able to see a currency option in the top right-hand corner.
- The currency option is set to display prices in USD by default
- To change your currency setting click on the drop-down arrow next to USD
- Select KES
It is as simple as that, after two clicks you can now view our fares in local currency and book with your Kenyan Shillings.
