Mombasa features a wide range of kid-friendly attractions and fun-filled family experiences. From playgrounds to parks, your little ones can get entertained and indulge in numerous adventures that will give them unforgettable memories. 1. Haller Park

Haller Park was once known as Bamburi Nature Trail, a stop-over for animal lovers with an avenue for kids to embrace nature and run wild. The park is home to wildlife such as hippos, waterbucks, zebras, Cape buffalo, and giraffes. The ecosystem is flourishing and it’s a great place for kids to get up close and personal with more than 160 bird species that include the storks, pelicans, cranes and weaver birds. There are cycling and walking paths through the Casuarina Forest. Haller Park has crocodile pens, palm garden, butterfly pavilion, and a reptile park as attractions while giraffe feeding is a highlight in the park.

2. The Mamba Village

The Mamba Village Centre is the largest crocodile farm in Nyali, where kids can learn about the lifestyle of crocodiles. Watching crocodiles struggle for meals during feeding time is a major attraction in the village. Kids can enjoy camel and horseback rides in the village, or even explore the botanical garden and the tropical marine aquarium in the village.

3. Diani Beach

Diani Beach is a popular spot for a family day out. Parents can spend quality time bonding with their kids while playing on the beach. The beach is an absolutely beautiful beach with crystal-clear waters for kids to swim in. 4. Nguuni Nature Sanctuary

Away from the bustling life of Mombasa, you can take your kids to the Nguuni Nature Sanctuary, situated along the Nguu Tatu Hills. The sanctuary is home to Oryx, antelope, ostrich, elands, and giraffes. It is an ideal spot to watch birds and also indulge in several outdoor activities.
