  7. Slice of Paradise –...

Approximately 19 kilometers south of Mombasa, on the coast of Kenya, is where you’ll find Diani Beach. The beautiful beach is around ten kilometers long, with shallow waves near the shore.

Diani has an airfield accessible via direct flights from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Wilson Airport. Diani Beach was named Africa’s top beach destination for the third year in a row in 2017.

In this article, we will discuss what to do if you plan to visit this beautiful island and why it is referred to as Slice of Paradise – Diani Beach, Kenya.

Skydiving in Diani

People come from all over the world to participate in skydiving at Diani, which is a delightful sport thanks to the consistently blue skies that prevail there.

Skydiving is popular in Diani. Kenya’s sole permanent skydiving club is at Diani. The club offers tandem skydiving as an activity and provides high-quality equipment to ensure jumpers’ safety.

Skydive Diani has weekly boogies festivals in March and November. Tourists can enjoy sophisticated skydiving antiques and a special training session during the event.

To make your experience even more thrilling, Skydive Diani provides the off-plane package, in which divers jump from an airplane with the assistance of a guide.

Diani Beach Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, and Boat Trips

Diani Beach is home to abundant marine life, and visitors can experience it all by going on a boat tour, snorkeling, or diving. These are not only some of the most enjoyable activities in Diani, but they also allow for close interaction with marine life.

Consider an encounter with a whale shark. Swimming in the same seas as a turtle colony? This encounter will make you insane. But believe me when I say that when you work with experts, you won’t have any worries.

Exhibitions at the Diani Beach Art Gallery

Can you imagine leaving Kenya without seeing, feeling, or even buying some of our art pieces? The Diani Beach Art Gallery houses some of Africa’s most magnificent works of art. At low costs, this gallery puts together rare and distinctive pieces of art created by outstanding Africans.

The entrance is adorned with magnificent sculptures, and all employees have a talent for art and creation. You will find some magnificent creations that you will never see anywhere else.

Visit Chale Island.

Chale Island is located amid Msambweni Bay, 12 kilometers south of Diani Beach. The native people who live along the coast consider the island to be more of a sacred site than an actual island and hold religious ceremonies there.

It features a stunning white beach charmingly flanked by coral reefs, giving it a sanctuary for travelers looking for a more romantic getaway.

Chale Island has a lot to offer, from its well-equipped water sports facility to exciting boat excursions.

Diverse diving and water sports take place on the island, with the Diving Crab offering, among other things, boat snorkeling, beach snorkeling, kayaking, local catamaran sailing, and game fishing.

Explore Fort Jesus

Your tour of Diani Shore should end with a visit to the well-known Fort Jesus, located only a short distance from the beach and can be reached in a few minutes by car.

Fort Jesus is an old tourist site erected in 1593 by Portuguese King Philip 1 and Spanish King Philip II and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012. This was due to the fact that it was unlike many other historical sites that dated back to the 16th century, as well as being in relatively decent condition.

Mombasa Diani Beach has numerous options to enjoy your vacation. It is up to you to decide what is best for you. This is the place for vacationers wishing to develop lasting experiences. This should be considered as Five Must Do’s in Kenya
