E-Visa
The e-visa is an electronic visa. It’s basically a visa that you can get online without having to go to a Kenyan embassy. An electronic visa makes it much easier for you to obtain the visa because the whole procedure is done online.
Types of e-Visas
There are three types of e-visas:
- Single Entry e-Visa – a single entry e-visa is required by tourists, businessmen and those visiting Kenya for medical reasons. This is the type of visa you need if you want to go on a vacation or a business trip to Kenya!
- Transit e-Visa – these visas are valid for those who are going to land in Kenya for less than 72 hours and then head to another destination.
- Courtesy e-Visa – It is issued for government officers and those visiting Kenya for official reasons.
