Important information for drivers

A full driving licence must have been held for at least 12 months and must be produced at time of rental.
Drivers, 22-65 years, standard conditions apply (21 and 65 -70 year old drivers accepted subject to special conditions and/or insurance approval).
All cars are comprehensive covered.
All rates exclude fuel charges and vat. Daily rates are based on a 24 hour cycle.
The estimated cost of hire is required at time of hire, barclay, visa cards and american express are accepted on approval.
Tanks are supplied on an empty basis. No credit will be given on unused fuel.

Pick Up and Drop Off Information

Most vehicle pickup and drop-off is done at airports. However, Sam’s Car Rental will deliver / pickup your vehicle/s anywhere you need.

When making your booking online, you’ll have the opportunity to select a location and time for both pickup and drop-off.

Fuel Allowances and Where to Buy

Your rental vehicle tanks are supplied on an empty basis when handed over to you, unless delivered to a remote destination.

There are numerous filling stations around the cities manned by pump attendants. We recommend that you check that the pump is reset before filling takes place, and that you check the reading before handing over money.

On returning the vehicle, no credit will be given on unused fuel.

Accident and breakdown Policy

You’re covered! Sam’s Car Rental insures its vehicles for registered drivers. All Cars Are Comprehensive Covered.

If in an accident, preferably remain with the vehicle if safe to do so and call the company straight away. You’ll have their contact details for 24 hr assistance.

In the unlikely event of a breakdown, 24/7 assistance is available. If the problem cannot be quickly resolved at the roadside, you’ll be given a replacement vehicle immediately to keep the wheels of your vacation rolling.
