Loisaba Conservancy is home to a variety of wildlife, which includes over 260 species of birds and 50 species of mammal. You’ll find animals such as Grevy Zebra, Buffalo, Elephants, and Greater Kudu as well as big cats in the conservancy. Wild dogs are regularly sighted too.
The traditional village of Samburu offers an amazing and once-in-a-lifetime cultural experience. You can visit the village and see how the local Samburu people live, what they do and even watch them dance.
The Anti-poaching dogs
The conservancy has its own anti-poaching team featuring two sniffer dogs called Machine and Warrior, and of course their handlers. You can visit the team, see how the dogs train, and also see them in action.
